Surrey Youth Coaching and Schools Co‑ordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of junior hockey across Surrey by driving participation, empowering coaches, and opening the sport to state schools that have yet to experience its full potential.

As the Surrey Youth Coaching and Schools Co‑ordinator, you'll be at the heart of growing the game—facilitating competitions, festivals, and inter‑school activity, while building a dynamic network of coaches who deliver high‑quality, modern, engaging hockey sessions.

You'll play a pivotal role in creating accessible, enjoyable hockey experiences, ensuring young people from all backgrounds have the chance to pick up a stick, learn new skills, and discover a lifelong passion for our sport.

Alongside this, you'll help elevate the England Hockey Player Pathway in Surrey by supporting the development of coaches, shaping tactical frameworks, mentoring pathway staff, and working closely with other counties across the Southeast.

This is a role for someone who loves connecting people, building partnerships, and making hockey happen—someone who wants to leave a genuine legacy in the county. If you're passionate about youth development, community impact, and bringing hockey to new environments, this role offers the perfect blend of creativity, leadership, and rewarding hands‑on influence.

It's a brilliant chance to help transform hockey's reach and inspire the next generation—come and be part of something special.
